Baby T-Rex will make its first ever public appearance in Iowa in advance of the October 1-5 run of Walking With Dinosaurs at Wells Fargo Arena. During the September 23 two hour educational event, children will be able to see a special video on “The Making of Walking With Dinosaurs – The Live Experience”, enter a coloring contest where they could win tickets to the show, participate in a Dino Dig, and test their knowledge of dinosaurs with a Dino Trivia contest.
The September 23 Baby T-Rex appearance and activities are free and open to the public. Enter through the Vets Auditorium lobby and follow the signs to Hy-Vee Hall C.
Dinosaurs once again roam the earth in this spectacular show, based on the award-winning BBC Television Series. Walking With Dinosaurs – The Live Experience is now on tour in North America and will make its Des Moines premiere at Wells Fargo Arena, Wednesday, October 1 – Sunday, October 5, 2008.
More than 1.5 million Americans have already seen the production since it opened in July 2007. This amazing show features a paleontologist/narrator who takes the audience on a 90-minute journey through the 200 million year reign of these giant prehistoric creatures.
