“When The Stars Go Blue” is one of four new songs on Tim McGraw Reflected: Hits Vol.2, Tim McGraw’s tenth album, set for release March 28, 2006. Written by Ryan Adams, the song has previously been recorded by The Coors. Another new song, “I’ve Got Friends That Do,” is also generating airplay prior to the album’s release.
“These are two of the new songs I recorded for the hits album,” says McGraw. “I’ve recorded five new songs and we are waiting to see how many my label will put on there – I’m hoping they put them all on the album for the fans… Usually we have a single 6 or 8 weeks in front of a new album, so I just thought it would be different to send out two records and see what happens over the next month. This gives the fans a say in which one should be the single – or maybe both.”

Tim McGraw Reflected : When The Stars Go Blue
Dancin’ where the stars go blue
Dancin’ where the evening fell
Dancin’ in your wooden shoes
In a wedding gown
Dancin’ out on 7th street
Dancin’ through the underground
Dancin’ little marionette
Are you happy now?
Where do you go when you’re lonely
Where do you go when you’re blue
Where do you go when you’re lonely
I’ll follow you
When the stars go blue, blue
When the stars go blue, blue
When the stars go blue, blue
When the stars go blue
Laughing with your pretty mouth
Laughing with your broken eyes
Laughing with your lover’s tongue
In a lullaby
Where do you go when you’re lonely
Where do you go when you’re blue
Where do you go when you’re lonely
I’ll follow you
When the stars go blue, blue
When the stars go blue, blue
When the stars, when the stars go blue, blue
When the stars go blue
When the stars go blue, blue, blue
Stars go blue
When the stars go blue
Where do you go when you’re lonely
Where do you go when you’re blue, yeah
Where do you go when you’re lonely
I’ll follow you, I’ll follow you, I’ll follow you
I’ll follow you, I’ll follow you, yeah
Where do you go, yeah
Where do you go, Where do you go
