Sugarland will perform “Down In Mississippi” at the CMT Music Awards on April 10, 2006. Sugarland’s “Something More” is nominated for Breathrough Video of the Year, and “Just Might (Make Me Believe)” is nominated for Group/Duo Video of the Year. In addition, Jennifer Nettles and Bon Jovi’s hit duet “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” is nominated for Colloborative Video of the Year.
The CMT Music Awards is country’s only fan-voted awards show. Visit CMT to cast your vote. First round voting ends at 11:59 p.m. on March 9. Final nominees will be announced on March 15, when final voting will voting will begin. Sugarland was voted Favorite New Artist at the American Music Awards and was nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy.
Sugarland’s double platinum debut album, Twice The Speed of Life, featuring the hits “Baby Girl,” “Something More, and “Just Might (Make Me Believe),” is in stores now.
