Public Transportation
Metro Transit’s Downtown Zone is inexpensive travel without the footwork. It’s a bus or train ride for a fraction of the normal fare! You can reach Target Center in the Warehouse District, most downtown stores, restaurants and businesses on the Downtown Zone fare.
Buses
Target Center is easy to access from the Bus Line and is 1 block from Warehouse District Light Rail Station. For more information on public bus transit visit www.metrotransit.org
Tell the driver before you pay your fare that you will be riding only within the Downtown Zone to avoid paying the normal fare. If you ride outside the zone, the driver will ask you to pay the added fare. Transfers are not available with Downtown Zone fares.
Trains
Target Center is accessible by Light Rail and is located 1 block from the Warehouse District Light Rail Station.

Driving Directions
From North:
Take 35W south to the Washington Avenue Exit. Take a right on Washington Avenue and proceed up to 1st Avenue and take a left. Take First Avenue to 6th Street. Target Center will be on your right. To park in Ramp B, turn right on 5th Street. To park in Ramp A, turn right on 7th Street.
From South:
Take 35W north to the Downtown Exits and follow the 5th Avenue Exit. Take a left on either 7th Street (and go straight to the A ramp) or 5th Street (and go straight to the B ramp).
From East:
Take 94 West to the 11th Street Exit. Follow 11th Street to Hennepin Avenue and turn right. Turn left on 9th Street. Turn right on 2nd Avenue to the A, B or C ramp.
From West:
Take 394 East and exit directly into Ramp A, B or C. Or, take 94 East to the northbound 4th Street Exit. Take a right onto 1st Avenue North. Turn right on 5th Street or 7th Street and proceed into Ramp A, B or C.

These ramps offer numerous entrances off city streets, as well from I94 and I394 (coming into downtown from the western suburbs).
Downtown Parking: There are nearly 25,000 parking spaces in 38 parking lots and ramps throughout downtown, with most providing a short walk or convenient bus and LRT connections to Target Center. For more information and to view maps click here.
On-Street Parking: There are limited on-street, meter-controlled parking spots throughout downtown with pedestrian and transit access to Target Center.
