Clint Black and Dwight Yoakam will perform at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, PA on Thursday, June 22, 2006 Show Time is 6:30 p.m., with gates scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now. All tickets will be for general admission seating and will be sold for $40 at the Clipper Magazine Stadium box office, online at www.lancasterbarnstormers.com or by calling 717-509-HITS. Tickets will also be available through all Ticketmaster outlets. The concert will be held rain or shine.
The visit by these country music superstars comes on the heels of two wildly popular major concerts at Clipper Magazine Stadium in 2005, which combined to draw nearly 20,000 fans. On June 19, 9,110 fans were entertained by musical icons Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson in the first-ever concert at Clipper Magazine Stadium. Two weeks later on July 2 a stadium-record crowd of 9,944 enjoyed legendary rockers Def Leppard and Bryan Adams.

Since 1989 Clint Black has released 19 albums. He has also received numerous awards, including in 2000, Country Weekly Presents the TNN Music Awards: Collaborative Event of the Year; 1999, Academy of Country Music: Vocal Event of the Year; 1998, Grammy: Best Country Collaboration With Vocals; 1993, CMA: Vocal Event of the Year; 1990, American Music Awards: Favorite New Artist; 1990, CMA: Male Vocalist of the Year; 1990, TNN/Music City News: Album of the Year; 1990, TNN/Music City News: Star of Tomorrow; 1989, Academy of Country Music: Album of the Year; 1989, Academy of Country Music: Single of the Year; 1989, Academy of Country Music: Top Male Vocalist; 1989, Academy of Country Music: Top New Male Vocalist; and 1989, CMA Horizon Award.
Dwight Yoakam has released 27 albums, beginning with his first in 1986. His many awards include 1998, Grammy: Best Country Collaboration with Vocals; 1993, Grammy: Best Male Country Vocal Performance; 1989, Music City News: Country Vocal Collaboration of the Year; and 1986, Academy of Country Music: Top New Male Vocalist.
