Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) will celebrate the 20th anniversary of ARF with the Stars to the Rescue XX gala. Please join host Tony La Russa on Friday, January 7, 2011, 7 P.M. at Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, CA for ARF’s stellar fundraiser, featuring comedian Lewis Black, Tom Johnston of the Doobie Brothers and the Eagles’ Timothy B. Schmit along with other special guests. Tickets priced at $250, $100 and $50 are now on sale. Buy tickets online or by calling 925-943-SHOW.
Funds raised through Stars to the Rescue will truly make a difference by supporting ARF’s programs which promote positive relationships between animals and people. ARF gives another chance at life to animals who otherwise would perish in public shelters, providing the care and attention they need, including spay or neuter surgery, until a new home of their own can be found.
ARF’s People Connect programs strengthen the human animal bond for the elderly, residents of assisted living
centers, high school students, grade school students, and young children through programs that are national models of excellence. ARF programs allow people to experience the unconditional love and acceptance of dogs and cats. People rescuing animals…animals rescuing people…®.
If you are unable to attend Stars To The Rescue, you can make a difference in the lives of both animals and people by donating online to ARF.
