Alan Jackson’s Silent Night Video was filmed for a CMT holiday special on October 10, 2002 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. “I’m here to bring y’all some classic Christmas music,” Jackson told the crowd. The holiday special was in conjunction with his 2002 Christmas album, Let It Be Christmas. Alan recorded the album after his mother requested “a pretty Christmas album” of standards to follow his 1993 Christmas album, Honky Tonk Christmas.
