The ACMs were last night (in case you missed one of the biggest Country Music events of the year) and that means amazing performances and iconic fashion. So without any further ado, here is some of the fashion we liked, from some of the artists we love.
With 9 albums under his belt and countless awards and nominations, there’s no better person to host the ACMs than Country legend, Dierks Bentley. Bentley graced the ACM red carpet with a classic-cut suit in a summery light blue shade. Simple, classy, and elegant.
Has anyone actually seen Cole Swindell’s head? I’m pretty sure he wears the same navy baseball hat everywhere. It definitely took his classic grey suit look to a more-casual level. He changed his clothes, but obviously kept the hat when he and ACM host Dierks Bentley rocked the stage with his single, ‘Flatliner’ off of You Should Be Here.
Luke Bryan is also a staple of the Country Music industry. While the singer has sold over 7 million albums to date, it’s hard to pay attention to him when he’s next to his gorgeous wife. Carolyn Boyer stuns in this abstract-printed gown and matching shoe, definitely drawing the eye away from Bryan’s simple but well-styled black suit.
The award for cutest couple on the red carpet goes to Thomas Rhett and his beautiful, pregnant wife, Lauren Gregory. Rhett’s head-to-toe black tuxedo went perfectly with Gregory’s floor-length disco dress. Rhett may be transitioning into Daddy-mode, but he definitely hasn’t slowed down his music. Rhett was the lucky recipient of Male Vocalist of the Year, and Song of the Year! He also put on a pretty amazing performance with…
The beautiful Maren Morris. Morris debuted her new short hair with a stunning teal dress with simple sparkling embellishments and a sexy thigh-high slit. Morris somehow looked even better when she took the stage with Thomas Rhett to perform their new single, Craving You, in a sequined, blush-colored two piece. Morris was crowned best new female vocalist earlier in the night, cementing her place in country music.
With 7 Grammys, 17 Billboards, and 11 AMAs, Carrie Underwood is no stranger to the award show red carpet. It should come as no surprise that the acclaimed singer pulled out all of the stops for this years ACMs. Underwood shined like the star she is in a nude gown adorned with silver rhinestones in a feathery pattern. The ‘Before he Cheats’ singer paired her sleeveless gown with a massive diamond choker.
Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line strut their stuff with girlfriends in hand. Their casual red carpet style is reminiscent of their bro-country music style, and their ladies looked just as good. FGL’s performance with the Backstreet Boys was the most tweeted thing from last night’s ceremony, and was a collaboration in the works for over a year. Get excited to see more great stuff coming out of both groups!
